PLEASE NOTE: The Board has become aware of recent attempts to obtain nursing licensure in Texas through fraudulent representations concerning the completion of out of state nursing education programs.  Please be aware that the Board will investigate any application that appears to be associated with fraudulent activity, and this may cause an additional delay in the approval of an application for licensure while the Board’s investigation is ongoing. Further, please note that an applicant’s out of state nursing education program may be required to produce its program curriculum, policies, and procedures for inspection by the Board.

Individuals who attended a nursing program outside of the United States must meet additional requirements for licensure. Please check our “Non Approved International School(s)” list to ensure that your nursing program is approved by the Board and that you are eligible to receive a license in Texas.
